DD is called all upset today a few weeks ago she felt just a slight lump in her breast got into today for a different type of mammogram
they told her she has 3 clusters of clacium deposits in just one side that as she said want to join together

so now shes going have a biospy
depending on what comes of that they might just do surgery so then theres no concerns of cancer

this year has just been terrible and its only march between DH and stones which now he just found out yesterday he has to have this done for a third time
funny casue he had the scan done almost 2 weeks ago- he called last week and was told the team did nt look at it yet so yesterday I figured we waited long enough so I called--funny cause they now they finally had the report

anyways back to DD has anyone else dealth with this--not trying to be noisey just to give my DD some encourgement
any advice I could give her
thanks

I have. It was a few years ago and I was wigged out, but the biopsy showed what it was, and they left a teeny tiny marker in there somewhere that shows up on my mammograms. Had one last week and got the all clear yesterday! I think "just the thought" of it all was what freaked me out so much, afterwards I learned just how common it is and getting biopsies isn't as uncommon as I thought it was.

I have nothing to help with, but I wanted to send my good wishes for your DD. I pray that everything is ok with her. Please keep us updated

Thanks so much to both of you for the reassuring and kind words for my DD I will certainly pass these in to her I’m sure it will help to calm her down
She’s at the freaking out stage.

I have had them and had 2 biopsies. both came out clear. One was an in office needle biopsy, one was a surgery biopsy. They keep tabs on notes where they are so when they do future mammograms, they know what/where to look/compare.

I had several in college. Fortunately they dissolved over time. Hugs to your DD.

My friend had them. They took a few different shots on the mammogram. Then they sent her from the MRI with guided biopsy and they had just disappeared. It was very strange.
