Any experience upgrading a CIty Pass to a delux AP?

Aloha,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience updrading the 3 day park hopper that comes with the City Pass to a Deluxe AP? I'd like to know what value Disney gives the hopper so I can calculate how much more I'll need to get that DAP. I actually tried emailing Disney and all I got was the run around. Before I actually make the phone call, I just wondered if anyone here has done it and can give me the info!

That's exactly what we did in February. We were given $179 credit for the adult ones, so it took another $90 to upgrade those. We were given $149 credit for the children's ones, so it took another $120 to upgrade those. It was well worth it to us. We already returned once and plan to return at least one more time.

Thank you for your reply. I was just wondering because it seems like Disney didn't even know the answer to the question and I don't like surprises. lol I appreciate your insight!
