I have seen on Disneyland's website that you can order custom cakes to be delivered at table service restaurants, but the details are vague.

I am celebrating my 30th birthday in DL and my birthday dinner is planned to be at BB! This will be our entire parties first time eating there. It isn't until October, so I obviously cant make a reservation yet. We are feeding 8 people.

My questions are:

Do you have any personal experience ordering cakes to your table? How was it? How many people did you feed? How much did you spend? Was the cake personalized, and did it cost extra to do so? Would you do it again?

Basically, any information on your special ordered cake at Disneyland will be helpful! TIA!!

GAHH IM SO EXCITED!!

I actually got information over the phone a couple weeks ago by calling Disney Dining. She was very patient explaining the sizes, flavors, toppers, etc. you can book within 60 days.

I plan on calling to order within the next couple weeks for July.

I call 714-781-3463. Good luck!

I actually ordered cakes several times: my 30th birthday cake, daughters 3 year old, and uncles 60th (his was blue bayou). Call 60 days out make reservations for the restaurant and party size. You can order cake that day or call back later. I believe cake has to be ordered with at least 48 hours notice. You pick the size cake and the type of cake (white, chocolate), then pick a filling (mouse strawberry etc), then what type of frosting. For my cake I got Mickey and my daughters was princess. they will give you a list of characters and you have to choose from them. When you order cake tell them your reservation date time and location. Just confirm when being seated at blue bayou and they will bring the cake, candles, and everything for dessert. If there are any dietary allergies they are really accommodating. My daughter and I can't have dairy so they made dairy free cakes for us.
