Any ever spend all their days in one park?

We spent at least part of 4 out of 6 park days at MK on our last trip, but two of those days we went to other parks as well. We were staying at BLT, so it was easy to pop into MK in the evenings. On our next trip we will have 10 park days and are planning on 3 at MK. I can't imagine spending 5 full days in any one park, but whatever floats your boat!

It doesn't sound horrible, but I think I'd miss Epcot too much. You will only know how well it works out if you try, so go for it! You will always be curious...

For my upcoming trip, I am planning to do four half days in the Magic Kingdom. One of the half days will be for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Magic Kingdom is by far my favorite park, but I agree that the other parks are worth spending a little bit of time in too. But I also say to each their own, as I love Magic Kingdom too!!

I could not. I like MK but for my family, WDW is more than one park. If your family wants to do this, I see nothing wrong with it, but I would be prepared to have a backup plan.

I can see how it Might be fun, you'll definitely get to do everything I would think. Pkay all the games like sorcerers, meet all of the characters, really feel at "home" there. I wouldn't do it, as I like the other parks a lot but I can see how it might be kind of cool.

I could maybe do 5 days in MK but like others said, I would miss some of the other parks too much! I'm sure I could find enough to do in MK - although I might be inclined to do a Keys to the Kingdom tour to take up some times on one of the days. I also probably wouldn't do rope drop if I knew I was spending that much time there. But if you wanted to eat at all the TS restaurants there it'd be nice to have them spaced out. We end up having to pick just one because I don't want to be eating too much in a single day. We'd also make more of an effort to see all characters and ride our favs multiple times! If you are staying at one oft he MK resorts I can see it working out ok.

Got 5 full days at WDW coming up not too long from now. I'm seriously considering spending every day of it at Magic Kingdom. I must be thinking this is a bit over the top or I wouldn't be asking! Just curious if anyone has ever done this? Is it crazy???? :)

I don't think it is crazy! I was about to reply that if I did that I'd spend everyday at Magic Kingdom but then I remember how much I love world showcase. So I would do two parks, Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Perhaps some more information about your family and experience at Disney may help. Are you doing some 1/2 days?

I could not see going all 5 days. Our young kids liked something about each park. For example, they would prefer going on soaring than pirates for the 4th time.

We have 8 days + Christmas tickets coming up. We might do 4 days at MK, 2 days at both AK and Epcot and 1 at HS. That or 3 days at MK with 2 days at HS.

Hey, Folks, thanks for all the feedback! It's really cool to hear so many different opinions! What rings true from all the comments is that you do what makes you happy and everybody has a different idea of that...which is fantastic! "Infinite diversity in Infinite Combinations"..OH NO a Star Trek reference! Eek! What I didn't explain is that I've been going to Disney for years now, so this isn't the fanciful whimsy of a "newbie". MK is by far my favorite park...and the place I think of most when I think of Disney. I always leave wanting more! Again, not really sure why I felt a need for affirmation...probably because I've never once considered doing just one park for an entire trip...just doesn't seem the WDW way...so it'll definitely be a new experience...IF I go through with it...Thank goodness for multi-day passes...can always change plans! :-) Thanks again, my fellow DIS-ers! :teeth::hippie:

We are doing a short 3 day trip in the next few weeks, and we are doing all MK days! It will just be me and my 2 little ones, 1 is 40+inches, 1 is not. With out another adult to do rider swap, there are not enough things in the other parks to use a full daysa ticket on, and we dont have hoppers! I am actually very very excited about this trip!! Weve spent countless days at MK, but it seems we never slow down and take it all in. I hope to do that this trip!! Plus, my girls would be just fine to ride Peter Pan, IASW, Pooh, and Ariel over and over and over and over. Last trip, we spent 2 full days in MK and never made it to adventure land or frontier land AT ALL!! And on top of that, every day we were at a different park, my little one kept asking to go back to Disney World. She couldnt grasp that Disney World was so much more than MK. :) So after this trip, we will always pick hoppers and spend at least half a day at MK each day!!

For our trip next February, my sister and I are going to do something kinda different and for no good reason other than we can and we are goofy. We are going to do 1 MK Movie day and 1 MK Non-movie day (in other words, day 1: rides and stuff themed after movies, day 2: rides and stuff not themed after movies. But we could use a couple extra days at MK to really get into the spirit of the challenge.
But, we are too new to the rest of the parks to NOT spend time in each. Even after a few years of seeing all the parks, I think we could spend the bulk of each day at the MK, but we'd still have to hop to visit our favorites in the other parks. Now, if we did more than a week at a time just at Disney, we could certainly spend 5 days in MK.

We will be at MK 5 days out of our 10 day tickets plus a MNSSHP and a MVMCP.
What is your group like? Ours has 3 girls aged 6,4 and 1.5

I haven't done it but I don't think it's a crazy idea. In terms of entertainment, MK blows away the other parks. I'd miss Epcot somewhat but I'd have no problem going to MK everyday on a 5 day trip and staying till 5pm or so and then heading off to Epcot for dinner.

In theory it is a great idea because Magic Kingdom is my favorite park and I like to spend as much time as I can there, but in actuality my family couldn't do it. There are too many things in the other parks that we would miss doing if we just went to MK for our entire stay (i.e. RnRC, EE, Spaceship Earth, TT, Soarin, for my kids ToT, B&TB show in DHS). DH and I would also miss WS, we love walking through there and taking our time and smelling the roses while the girls go off and do what they want to do, plus of course some of our favorite restaurants are there too. I can understand going to just MK due to everything that is going on at DHS, Epcot's FW being in the state that it is in, and AK going through a lot too, however, that wouldn't mean I would want to skip out on my favorite attractions/restaurants because of it.

The worst that's going to happen is you get bored and decide to go to a different park. Right?!

Are you planning on doing a lot of sit down meals? People watching? Rope drop to fireworks? Character meet & greets? There are different ways you could spin it...I could probably spend half a day just trying to get through main st shops! I don't think I would do 5 days personally, maybe 4 on a 2 week trip....but I can't imagine going and not going to ALL parks. But it's your vacation, so you do what makes YOU happy!
