Got 5 full days at WDW coming up not too long from now. I'm seriously considering spending every day of it at Magic Kingdom. I must be thinking this is a bit over the top or I wouldn't be asking! Just curious if anyone has ever done this? Is it crazy???? :)

There is definitely a lot to do and see at MK but I don't know about 5 days worth...well I guess it depends on how long you plan on staying each day?
I personally feel 3 days at MK each trip is enough.

I agree, I could do 3 days at MK broken up by one day at Epcot and one day at Animal Kingdom.

It's not "crazy" if that's what you want to do. It's your vacation. I personally wouldn't do that if I had 5 full days but I would probably do 2 days at MK, 1.5 days at AK, 1 day at Epcot, and 1/2 day at HS.

To each their own! Certainly not something I would do, but there's no right or wrong! I think the biggest thing you should think about is whether you'll regret not visiting the other parks. As soon as we visit the first park of our trip, I'm always hungry for the rest and anxious to get to them too!

I guess it depends on your reason for doing so. We are doing 4 days this coming trip (not in a row) and I struggle to find the right plan that isn't too repetitive

5 days where we park hop into MK because MK is the only thing still open... Yes

5 out of 9 days at WDW, probably

5 days if it includes MNSSHP and MVMCP .... Possibly

But 5 days with zero dinners in World Showcase, I'm not sure I could do it, but more power to the OP!

Pop over to MK once a day during a 5 day trip, maybe but doubtful. I don't even spend one full day there but we are 3 adults so the other parks hold more interest to us. I agree you might get bored and regret not going to another park.

I've got 4 days planned for my upcoming trip, but we are doing 2 weeks total. My last trip a few months ago, we did 2 days in MK and I still don't feel like we did half of it.

Mind telling us what you were planning to do or how you were going to split up the days? Might help gauge if you are over-estimating time.

I guess I wouldn't really feel like I was at WDW if "all" I did was MK. There is so much more to it! Personally, 2 days in MK is plenty for me, before the "magic" starts to wear off.

Our family spent the entirety of our 4 day trips to WDW at the MK for many years without ever going to another park. We went 9 trips in a row without ever going to a different park, other than a few trips to Sea World. That was in the summers of:
  • 1972
  • 1973
  • 1974
  • 1975
  • 1977
  • 1978
  • 1979
  • 1980 and
  • 1981

I couldn't go to Disney without eating in World Showcase. I could do MK for part of every day for 5 days, but I would also want to see the other parks for at least pieces of the days.

Two days at MK is plenty for us but I could see more if we didn't spend the whole day. It's your trip so go for it if you think it'll be fun.

I'd do the same thing! I do like breaking it up with other parks, but I try to spend as much time at MK as possible.

Trick answer. Nice one, Jimmy.

We spent a whole week at MK one year (stayed at BLT) minus one waterpark morning. It was great. We don't do marathon days in the parks though. We just got back from a split stay...Universal then Disney (just MK). Was also good! I love DAK but not in the summer and we don't care too much about Epcot or DHS.
