Any EO opening gossip?

Since you're not employed by The Walt Disney Company and Affiliated Companies, you're officially not covered under internal policies on the matter, and are free per the Constitution to say whatever you want about the issue, regardless of whether there's any truth to it or not (not that I'm saying that there is either way).

If you want to say that you heard Captain EO will be debuting today at Disneyland Park, this Sunday at Epcot, and next week at Tokyo Disneyland Park, that certainly is your perogative, lol.

In all seriousness, does it really matter that the world knows when a Cast preview of EO is taking place? Not really.

Because, if everyone were to know when a preview for Captain EO was taking place (not that I'm saying that there is one), do you really think a "Cast Members Only" sign and a few police/security guards would stop people from trying to go?

I have no doubt that Disneyland could control this very easily.

Man, i hope it opens my March 15th that willl be my last trip for a year or so, i planned it in advance when i heard EO would be returning in Feb. i really hope it opens by then.

its opening in FEB. within the week. dont ask where I got the info. just trust me...

Any word on how long it will be at the park?
We're going in June and I keep hearing rumors that the run could be as short as 12 weeks - say it ain't so!

not true. They would not spend this much money on a make over for a ride to last only 12 weeks. It will run until a new show is ready for the theater. I assume at the LEAST EO will be back for a year, if not longer.

Thanks Darrendman. That's what I thought too - that it's way too expensive to be so short-lived. Can't wait to see it again and for my kiddos to see it for the first time (excepting YouTube, of course).

I also hope it is up and running next week. I have fond memories of seeing it at Epcot in 85. My first 3-d interactive movie. So fun.

cool well i hope it opens the weekend BEFORE i get there on the 24th so the crowds can flourish BEFORE i get there LOL but also glad to see it should be open when we get there because im really looking forward to it alot! i wanna see it!
