I was trimming shrubs this morning and cut through the extension cord I know I know dont start... anyway, now none if the electrical outlets in the garage work.

What did I do??? I tried to flip the breaker but nothing works!

Can anyone help me please???

There WAS a GFI it was just hidden behind some boxes. Anyway the Home depot guy told me where to look for it.

Is there a Ground Fault Interupter (GFI) in line somewhere?? And are you sure you are doing the correct breaker??

You have hedges in Idaho????

My husband is an electrician and I relayed your problem.

First off, he says he can't believe you don't have a GFI in your garage. He says all garages have GFIs. Now we live in the DC area and this might just be the *rule* here. I explained you lived in Idaho and who knows what the electrical code is plus I don't know the age of your house.

Beyond that, he said you could have ruined your breaker. He said you could undo the wires to the breaker in question and attach them to another breaker and see if you get power. If so, then your breaker is bad. If this doesn't work, then further tests are required and you will need an electrician.
