I am going on the Eastern Cruise on 10/30/04. I already have my excursions booked (scuba diving). My friends who are going with me, are looking for a good excursion to go on...

Can anyone give me any details on any other excursion for my friends?

Any help would be great!!!

Thanks

Hi Vikingfans:

We are cruisin' with you guys too. I booked the Golden Eagle Catamaran in St Maarten. I was told on these boards that it was a good excursion to go on.

In St Thomas I think the Sky Tram (something you can do on your own) sounded good to me.

I'm sure others will give you great advice.

See you on board.

when you get to st thomas....there is an excursion to st john, trunk bay that is the most beautiful beach i ever saw. St maarten...i am not so sure....i did the french side beach rendevous and it was nice but lots of seaweed and lots of naked people lol. have a great time!!!

In St. Thomas we went on the Atlantis submarine ride. It was a lot of fun and my DS6 absolutely loved it. You went about 80 feet below the surface and saw all types of sea life including sharks. We booked through DCL.

We did the Angulla dolphin swin w/ DS 6 & DD 9. What a GREAT experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The excursion was a bit pricey, but Al the 8ft dolphin was worth the price. We spent about an hour in the pool with Al, 1/2 hr in the Stingray tank & 1/2 hr. with tropical birds & crab races (a bit hokey, but kids are still talking about the races). Buffet lunch and 1/2 day at beach was also included. The beach was gorgeous, the surf was gentle and breeze was warm. Some locals had floats to rent for $5.

My husband says he'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Enjoy!

The Golden Eagle Catamaran is WONDERFUL!! I will do it again when we go next time! My husband and I had a great time and so did my parents, the island they take you to is private, small and gorgeous! It is definitely worth the money but book it asap because it fills pretty quick!

The Doubloon Sail and Snorkel is a LOT of fun as well.

They serve the best rum drinks on the way back!! Banana Benders and Pain Killers! It was a lot of fun, the pirate tatoo they put on us was a hit and it was generally just a mellow party!

We took DS5 and DD3 on the Coral World and Island Tours in St. Thomas. They really enjoyed the open air bus tour of the island and at Coral World they were able to pick up sea urchins and look at all kinds of creatures. It was a great day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Now that they are older I would probably try one of the excursions to St. John's. Have a great cruise! :p

Hi vikingfan......NY Jets fans here. We are also on the 10/30 eastern. I'm doing the 12 meter reggeta on St. Mar. I always wanted to work a sail boat, hope it's fun.

Also the glass bottom boat at Castaway Cay (hopefully) that will be with my wife and dd8.

And of course the T&T ing on board.
See you in a few weeks!!!
Mike
