Hi, We are from East TN ( between Knoxville and Morristown ) and have a trip planned for Jan. Is anyone else from my part of the world? Just thought it would be cool to see how many of you guys live close???

I am -- almost!

We just moved away from Oak Ridge last year. Now we're in KY. But I'm still back to east TN at least 2-3x each month, visiting family :)

Southern Middle Tennessee here.:wave2: I noticed on your signature that you spent Christmas at the Coronado, what was that like? I am really interested in staying at CSR next time. I seem to hear more bad than good from posters here.

I loved the Coronado. It is really pretty. I could not get passed the fountain in the front lobby w/o dd wanting to unload all my change into it!!! LOL.

I really liked the theme. The pepper market was very nice. It is a sit down with a food court feel. They give you a paper when you are seated, and you visit different places and they stamp your card. Very neat!

We were very pleased with our stay there, and I could tell a difference in the value resort vs the moderate. The rooms are a little bigger too. We were on the second floor next to the convention center. I would recommend this area. You can walk out of your room and into the convention center. Take the elevator to the first floor and walk down the hall. At the end of the hall turn left and you are at the pepper market. This was very handy on cold days. !!

I really love CSR!!!!

I'm in Tennessee too. I grew up in Oak Ridge and now live just north of Knoxville in Powell. I can't imagine living anywhere else!

We are from Bluff City, between Johnson City and Bristol. We are leaving tomorrow. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

We are flying from tri-cities regional

$150 round trip no lay overs

We are in Johnson City and will be at CSR 12/11-17. We plan on driving at this point, but now that the TRI has an Orlando direct flight...we'll have to compare fares vs. gas prices. :wave2:

I'm in Mid TN, Murfreesboro, but I grew up in Kingsport, and most of my family is in Jefferson City

I am too!! I am in Johnson City! We leave for our first family trip Monday. Very cool that there a few of us from this area on here!!
Spedtchr- if you leave tommorrow we will prob be there at the same time!! We check in Tues @ POP. :Pinkbounc

I live in Newport and work in Knoxville. I love seeing other East Tenesseers!!!! I can't believe that Tri-cities now has a direct flight. Do you know what airline? We will be at BWV Oct16-21!!!! Yeah- only 3 more weeks!!!
Thanks-
Melanie :earsgirl:

I really love CSR!!!!

Thank you for the positive review! I have found that now that the planning is all done for our family trip, and all we have to do is go in a few days...there is sort of a letdown. I enjoy the planning stages, so I'm all ready to plan mine and DH's get-a-way next year :love2: I think the Coronado looks beautiful and you helped calm any anxiety about the resort. It was actually a toss up for us this time between CSR and WL. We decided with all the reviews about how great WL is for children, we'd go there this time. I noticed a lot of us Tennessee folks are heading to WDW soon...ya'll have a great trip!

:earboy2: My family and I moved to Knoxville in March 2003 from Anaheim. I work in Maryville/Alcoa. We are going to Ft. Wilderness Cabins in June 2006.
:cheer2: GO VOLS!!! :cheer2:
