Any DVC studios with a king? Or two queens?

Hi everyone!

DH and I want to go down with my parents for Epcot Food and Wine. 2 couples renting DVC should be simple, but my mom has thrown a wrench in things by asking for either a king size bed or 2 queens for her and my dad. They are both obese and in their late 60s. My dad snores, so this is a deal breaker for them.

I looked into sharing a villa with them at OKW, but my husband doesn't want to be relegated to the queen room with a bathroom down the hall while my parents get the master suite. I kind of agree with him! ;)

Do any of the DVC studios on any of the properties come with either a king bed or 2 queens in one room? Thanks for the help!

As far as I know Old Key West is the only DVC resort that has 2 queens in their studios - all others have one queen and a sofabed. My most recent Disney stay was last month at Old Key West; we had stayed at every other DVC resort except the Grand Floridian; not sure why we never booked at Old Key West before even though it is our home resort...turned out we loved our stay there due to the central location and relaxing atmosphere!

As was mentioned OKW is the only WDW DVC with 2 queens in the studios. There are no studios at any resort with king beds. But dedicated 2 bedrooms at almost all resorts will have the king in the master and then 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom. BCV is an exception some have the 2 queens but some have a queen and a sleeper sofa instead. Also since all studios at OKW have 2 queens then any 2 bedroom there whether it's a dedicated 2 bedroom or a 2 bedroom lockoff will have the 2 queens in the second bedroom.

Thanks for the quick replies. I think my mom and Dad will have to ante up for at least a 1 Br villa in one of the resorts we're looking for. We may not be placed close to them, but at least they'll get good sleep. Thanks!

If you book separate rooms, have MS put a 'Travel With' on the reservations. This will alert the room assigner to try and place both rooms as near to each other as possible.
