Any DVC options in Las Vegas?

This question has come up in the past and the consensus previously was that with the bargains to found in Las Vegas it was a much better choice to use your points elsewhere. I believe the Polo Towers and one other resort reciprocates. None of the big hotels/casinos was an option, however. Hopefully, someone with direct experience will get you an answer.

If you're talking about a DVC-owned/operated resort, I'd rather see a Disneyland resort first. As far as an exchange is concerned, when I can get a room at $29/night just off the strip, the point cost would have to be pretty low for me to consider using my points there.

 You can use your points to stay at the Polo towers, but I wouldn't choose to.

My wife and I took a tour of the towers and they're really not up to DVC standards. To be honest, the towers are not up to the standards of most of the hotel casinos on the strip.

My advice, get a good room deal in Vegas through Expedia or some other travel site. Save your points for WDW. :smooth:

I agree with above posters. We went for our first stay in Las Vegas this April and stayed in a beautiful Treasure Island room for $59 per night, including breakfast. My points would far better be used elsewhere where bargains like this can't be found.

Thank you all very much!! :) I was seriously thinking of using points and going to Vegas next year.

Oh just for information, along with Polo Towers you now have the Jockey Club and two other Hotels off the strip which belong to the "Exchange" program. The Jockey Club is old; I've never been inside, but somewhere along the way I remember someone saying "it wasn't a place they wanted to go again" so take it from there!
