Any DVC members ever get discount codes?

We are DVC members and have never gotten any discounts codes (even before we owned!).

Any members out there who ever receive codes? We want to stay some additional nights on cash ressies.

DVC members get 25% off rack rates for cash reservations. Hope this helps!

I would also love to receive a discount code once in a while. We never have even before owning DVC. We have been short points twice and had to rent a few from friends. Would definitely consider an additional trip if we had a code also.

I was about to post the same question after reading about the 40% off. I would also like to add that we have stayed three different times in a moderate since owning DVC.

I've recieved codes on regular rooms. Disney is not about to offer 40% codes on the villas and I can't blame them. I think I'd be a little upset if the start offering 2 bedroom villas at 1/2 price. That was one of the incentives for purchasing.

Yep...we got two or three postcards last year and I've gotten 2 emails in the last 3 months or so. Unfortunately, living so far from Florida, we only get to go about once a year...but we make it worth our while! (we stay 7-9 days when we go) Unfortunately for us, our favorite place other than Saratoga, is the WL...and rarely do they include that on the discounts due to popularity.
(that's ok...we still stay there anyhow...)

I hope no one flogs me for getting these codes/pins....but we do get them. For the record, I have been going to Disney for nearly 15 years now with my first trip when I turned 30. There is no rhyme or reason to what they mail people.

DVC member and was offered a discount last year and this year after calling. Last year my dates were not within the discount times. This year I called and booked 2 rooms at Pop and asked about the 40% code and was told it was available to us. We are paying $49 a night each room at Pop for 7 nights, then moving to the BCV -2 bedroom for 5 nights (w/points).

I believe you can use the 25% off of any room at WDW. You may want to post or search the DVC board because the question comes up often. We haven't used it, yet, but we may try to this year. Good luck!!

The 25% is only good at the DVC resorts and only if there is availability.

I was offered this discount for my stay in June of this year but it was only for a studio at OKW or SSR. I declined because we were already staying 6 nights at SSR. There are 4 of us and we rent 2 bedroom villas for the space (my boys are older and big!). However, I would have loved to have had a discount for my room at the WL! The discount will only be for DVC resorts and its for the actually villas not the rooms (as in the case of the WL, I was told the 'room' are not DVC discounted) I hope this helps out!
