Any DVC for NYE Illuminations Cruise?

Anyone interested in a New Year's Eve Specialty Cruise for an un-crowded view of the Illuminations Fireworks?

I might be interested, please let me know what you can.
I planned on finding a handicap spot around 6 pm and reading my kindle till Illuminations.
Has anyone seen Illuminations at NYEve from a cruise? I have seen Illuminations on a cruise once before and still like the handicap area better but not having to sit on the ground for 6 hours might just change my mind.

We're on Jimminy's cruise and hope you can join us!

The boat leaves the Yacht Club Marina at 10:40, snacks and soft drinks are included. The cost comes to $100 per person, which includes the captain's tip.

You do get a ride around the area before "docking" near the bridge area for viewing. You will be next to other boats, it's a tight fit. The last time I did a cruise, a party on the boat next to us got married!

I've been to NYE at Epcot twice before. If you park yourself where you say, you will also see the first showing of Illuminations, but there are probably others with the same idea as you! Best wishes as you decide what you're going to do!

Hey Margaret,

I replied to your PM yesterday and just wanted to confirm that you have received it. We have a few other folks inquiring about the cruise, but I will continue to hold the seats until Wednesday so you have a chance to consider everything. As soon as you can let me know what you're thinking, however, will be very much appreciated.

Bobbi brings up a great point, and one that I completely forgot about. The early viewing of Illuminations (somewhere between 7:00 and 8:00 if I'm not mistaken) will be driving those who know where the "good spots" are to head to them even earlier!

That's really nice of you to offer. I'd take you up on it; but, I'll be in one of the boats next to you. We have ten in our party.

I remember a couple years ago I had a Wishes boat booked and four of my friends had to bail on me because of a sick child. As I was walking to the pier with two of vacation buddies, we met a couple and the woman's sister coming out of the restaurant. On the spur of the moment we invited them to go out with us.

I was a huge surprise for them and a great treat for all of us. We got to meet some new friends that night and we all enjoyed the show from the vantage point of the lake.
