Any Don't Miss For Counter Service?

I was thinking about just winging these on a daily basis, but wondering if there are any Counter Service spots we should not miss. It will be me and the husband and our 6 year old. What are your favorites? Looking for lunch..... Thanks guys!

The Flame Tree BBQ in AK. The food is great and huge portions! You could easily share a lunch. Seating is down behind the restaurant underneath a canopy of trees with an excellent view of EE. We eat here every visit- which will be Wednesday!

We've always made a point to eat at Columbia Harbour House at the MK on every visit. It's over near the Hall of Presidents and Haunted Mansion. Head up to the seating on the 2nd floor for a quiet break.

When are you going?
If it's before Aug 20, be sure to go to Tusker House in AK. It's one of the best, maybe THE best CS place in WDW. But it's being converted to a TS buffet. Go there while you can.

Also a big Columbia Harbour House fan!

I agree with the PP. Columbia Harbor is one of our all time favorites!!! It is a must on every trip.
At Epcot, we have always liked the "The Land". Alot of different choices.
At the Animal Kingdom, take your choice.(although, the number of CS is dwindling)
In MGM, we have a problem. There are not many GOOD ones that we have found. Sunset Blvd. has some places that we consider tolerable.
You can check the menus on allears.net and Disney Dining on the Disney site. These might help you to decide.

Everyone here seems to have my good taste in CS.

Flametree @ animal kingdom is my favorite
Columbia harbour house @ MK

If you are on the dining plan the Pepper Market @ CORONADO SPRINGS
is my favorite over my favorite, flame tree

The Sunshine @ the land @ Epcot has several CS to choose from.

For Chinise go to Lotus Blossem @ Epcot

MGM does not have much for CS but Prime time and Sci fi are pretty good table service and not as pricy as sother table service.

The kids always eat at the electric umbrella for hamburgers. They like the topping bar to top of thier burgers. I think they eat some of the toppings off on the side (salas with no dressing).

If I did not have the DDP I could do fine with just CS

The Flame Tree BBQ is great (one of our favorites) in AK. Also in MK don't miss Horbour house. Actually I just read through this site and apparantly everyone agrees on the places so go for it. Enjoy

Count me in with the Columbia Harbour House gang! Love it there!!

Also, Earl of Sandwich at DTD and ABC Commissary at MGM have been good experiences for us.

Best from our recent trip... The Pepper Market at CSR, bordering on TS. Biggest Zoo... Electric Umbrella over at Epcot.

I love Cosmic Rays. The ribs and chicken combo is huge and wonderful. And the sides are the best in WDW. The entertainment is well ..errr... there.

i love comsic ray's in MK near torrowland and fantasy land. there is a huge selection and it's indoors and ACed for a nice cool down.

Our counter service musts:
MK: Cosmic Ray's......wide variety...and tons of places to sit....and free entertainment by Sonny Eclipse!
Pinnochio's....everyone in our family found something they loved there!

AK: Pizzafari...good food and beautiful atmosphere

MGM: The Backlot Express....again everyone in our family found something they loved there

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons in the Land....wide variety of food!

We love Cosmic Ray's esp. for the fixins bar. Also my 8 year old DS says that Casey's has the best french fries. It is a must for our family every trip.
