Any discounts for late February?

Looking at going to the Daytona 500 and Disney. Checking in February 22. $159 a night for a value resort. Seems expensive. Any deals?

Well you might find a deal it is not likely as that is presidents holiday. 2/22 is my youngest sons birthday and we made the mistake of canceling a reservation to change room size at a watermark hotel and then found nothing available in 3 states! Good luck to you though

That's vacation week for many New England states. I doubt you'll find any discounts on property. We went Tuesday-Tuesday that week last year but stayed in Orlando at The Enclave and skipped Disney. We went to Busch Gardens, Sea World, and Universal. They were busy, but not packed (except the Harry Potter section at IOA, which was wall to wall crowds). We actually were able to walk on to a lot of rides at Universal and Sea World; things didn't get busy till afternoon. Just a thought if you want to go to Florida that week frugally.

The room only disount that just started ends 2/20/12. I believe for the free dining discount you have to check in by 2/15/12. It's possible that they might release something later, but I wouldn't count on it. That is peak season.
