Any Discounts for Lake Buena Vista Golf?

We're there next week - we are guests of a DVC member and staying at SSR so DH is hoping to get in 2 or 3 rounds of golf. But at $134 per round....

Are there any discounts out there to be found?

The best "discount" is the DVC golf membership, if you'll be staying with your DVC friends/family and they have the golf membership and will be playing golf your DH would get the lower rate. The DVC golf membership is $50 per year and gives up to 60% off greens fees for the member and up to 3 guests (the member does have to be there).

Are you military members?

If so, you can get the same rates as DVC but without the $50 membership fee if you show a Military ID. The only downside is that you can only book your tee times 24 hours prior ... but my hubby has never had a problem getting on when doing this.

DVC members won't be there. Not military but are there Government rates?
