Any discount on a new member direct DVC purchase using the Disney Chase card?

Haven't found anything using search here for any CURRENT info ... just want to make sure my guide is correct and that there is NO discount on a new member direct DVC purchase for VGF by using my Disney Chase card for the down payment (except the 6 months no interest he card offers)

No discount - unless you consider the Rewards points as a discount on your next visit (tickets, meals, etc.)!

I was curious about using Disney Chase thinking there must be a better option so I posted your Q. here on the Disney gift card thread. I know weird but it yielded a better take if you're so inclined.

For new DVC purchases - You can earn quite a bit of Chase Ultimate Rewards points if you and your spouse each open credit cards. I think I'll end up with the equivalent of $6000 worth of Chase UR points (~400,000 Chase UR points) after I finish my purchase. The I love credit cards thread helped point me in the right direction, but I got a 80K bonus for $4000 in purchases from opening the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card and 200K Bonus for opening 2x Chase Ink Preferred cards with $8000 spend each). Since I already have a Chase Sapphire Reserve, the points are worth 1.5 cents each when using them to redeem travel directly through the Chase UR portal. It would be worth only $5000 if you don't already have the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
