Anyone know of any discounts for the Nick hotel in Orlando, any promo codes?
Lesley

They currently have a scouts deal, $99 a night for a kids suite for certain dates April 16 - June 6, no idea if you need to have proof of scouting or something :confused3. Check this link to current sales they have on their site: http://www.nickhotel.com/html/orlando-promotions-pkg.asp If you have time before going, I'm signed up for something that they send me info on deals occasionally. Also if you have time, be sure to check the site, even daily. We went off season, but about 3 months before leaving they had a 24 hour deal for a kids suite for $79 a night :cool1: we were very pleased with that!

Wow -- that is a great deal. I currently have a reservation at Caribbean Beach Resort, but am now considering moving over to the Nick Hotel.

This vacation we are going to have 2 rest days at the hotel, and I think my DD7 would much prefer to be at the Nick Hotel instead.

Is it a nice, fun, safe place to stay? Where would you rather stay at the Nick or the Caribbean?

Also - we are going to go to Seaworld and Discovery Cove for 2 days, so we're not just doing Disney.

We were much happier at Nick, but we stay at value resorts, so I can't compare to yours. The kidsuites are very nice, you have a nice size living room with a couch and flat screen tv, a table and chairs, microwave and little fridge and sink. The kids room has a tv, bunk beds and table and chairs and the main bedroom had a tv and "desk" with a mirror. Everything was very comfortable, the bathroom was much nicer, maybe not bigger, but nicer, and we just had so much fun in the pool, that zero entrance was great for a 3 yo. We felt very safe, like I said the pool was very fun. They had a lot of other things that sounded fun and were free, but DS6 got very sick our only day there so we didn't get to do anything but the pool for half a day :upsidedow, thankfully it was the end of our trip and he was exhausted anyway. We wish we had booked and stayed there our whole trip instead of 8 nights at movies. I do highly recommend it, but I don't know if it's "nicer" than CBR.

Check out Travelocity or Expedia. I booked a 4 night stay (Travelocity), and with a free night sale, it turned out to $74 a night.
