Any discount benefit of annual pass?

Much to my disappointment, it seems that we are blacked out of the major promotions for when we are visiting Disney. (Oct. 30-Nov 6). I was wondering if anyone knew of what the typical discounts for rooms/dining with annual pass. We are considering getting an annual pass for one of the adults traveling in our party if it will get us some discounts. Also didn't know if we could use a AAA discount with annual pass discounts. Thanks for any help!!

I think AP discounts usually range in the 20-40% off range, more often around 25% in my experience. Of course, you don't know if they will offer an AP discount though, until it is announced.

AP does not give you any discount on the dining plan, but you can book a room with the dining plan without buying any additional tickets (non AP holder must purchase tix to get the DDP).

As far as I know, you cannot use both a AAA discount and an AP discount. Disney does not allow stacking of multiple discounts.

It does get you free parking @ the parks, but so does staying on-site. There are some other discounts with APs - merchandise and dining, but I haven't usually found them to be that great. You can also purchase the Tables in Wonderland discount dining card (20% off at many table service restaurants) if you have an AP.

Jersey Week is the first week in November - Jersey schools are closed for a few days for a conference and many many many people from New Jersey come to WDW that week (maybe it's everyone!).

right now they have one for 35-45% off most nights for certain weeks from august to october. most saturday arrivals don't count, so for omy upcoming trip, it was more beneficial to use the 20% pin.

Just wanted to say thanks for the information. Although we were hoping for big discounts, we are prepared to just use the AAA room discount. And I can't wait!
