Any Dis meets 10/28 for MNSSHP?

We'll be in WDW Oct. 23 - 30, doing MNSSHP on the 28th. I've been reading through these boards, and didn't see any meets planned for the 28th. No biggie, but was just wondering if there is something and I missed it?

I haven't seen anything either, but we'll see if any interest is generated by this thread and maybe we can all meet up. I'm also going to be at the Oct. 24 one which is posted on the DIS Meet board, but seems to have dies out since Webmaster Barry can't make it.

Let's see what response we get!!!!

If people are interested, maybe we could meet briefly in Tomorrowland during the time they round us up (6:45?) This is assuming that's where they are going to keep us this year. Maybe after MNSSHP starts this year, someone on these Boards will know is that is the situation. We are eating a different time and place, so a restaurant meet might be more difficult. It would be fun just to say hello, maybe take a big picture...

I think that sounds like a great idea. We all have to be in Tommorrowland anyway (unless you're dining at a restaurant). Let's say 6:45p outside of CoP? Trying to think of someplace not too crowded to meet & greet w/pics.

Outside CoP at 6:45 sounds great...let's confirm after we get feedback from others. We're new to these Boards, and this is our first trip to WDW in 5 years. We can't wait. It's for my DD's 10th b-day. I'm still a little paranoid about the bad weather continuing, but I'll try to think positive. Oh, if I don't have any lime green stuff, will others have this so we will know who we are?

We won't be hard to miss...our family is dressing as Hogwart's characters from the Harry Potter Book series. All the boys wanted to be Harry Potter, so we have Harry Potter Book I, Harry Potter Book II, Harry Potter Book III.....LOL !

BTW~Debra, you are going to love MNSSHP. We've been to both the MNSSHP and MVVCP in the past few years and enjoyed MNSSHP the most. Disney does such a good job of setting the mood!

Nice to see you on the boards...

Count us in for the DIS Meet on the 28th. It sounds like a lot of fun. As for the lime green -- many people will either wear some type of lime green ribbon or use one of the Disney paint samples (Home Depot is a good source). If you haven't seen them, they are a "Mickey" head logo in "ALIEN GREEN" on a piece of slick cardstock about 2"x3". You can either peel the lime green portion off and stick it on something else or just punch a whole in one corner and attach it to camera case, backpack, etc.

And don't forget everyone that you can usually enter the park w/your MNSSHP ticket as early as 4pm...three more hours of fun!

We have a PS for LTT at 5:30, so hopefully we will be done by 6:45.

Thanks Calypso (Lisa) for the tips. I found the Alien Green tags at Home Depot, so we'll have them on us. We will see you then on the 26th (cruise) and 28th (MNSSHP). Anyone else at the MNSSHP on the 28th who wants to, let's just plan on meeting in front of the CoP, 6:45. Hope to see you all there!!

Finally found the 10/28 group. There will be 10 of us, dressed in a patriotic/presidential theme in honor of upcoming election. Non partisan of course. lol "Mickey for Pres"
Where is CoP? Can't wait to go, to share our MNSSHP experience with some new family members.

Hey we will be there on the 28th as well! Just made the ressies for LLT for 4:20 (that all they had available). This is our first time and we can't wait. We will be dressed up as the Incredibles (3 of us) WHere is everyone meeting? I thought I read two different places?

For those that posted earlier asking where the meet was, or where CoP is....we're meeting at 6:45 in front of the Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland (since we think we'll be corralled there anyways. So, any Dis'ers that are at MNSSHP on the 28th, meet up for a few minutes, we'll take some pictures and just say hello to some friendly folks. Hope to see you all there!!!!

My DS (6) and I will be there on the 28th too! (My DH and I were there on opening night this year, and it was AWESOME!) I am surprising him with a short fall break trip...not telling him until we get to the airport, and keeping the secret is killing me! I will be a Mouseketeer, and DS...I have no idea! He has yet to make up his mind!

Hey Happy Halloween to you all!

Can't believe I never saw this one. Just checking for some last minute info as we'll also be there on the 28th. First time for us. Eating at LTT 5:15 or 5:30 as I made it so long ago and haven't looked in a while. Throwing together a last minute pirate costume, hubby will be Captain Jack Sparro, DD will be "Elizabeth" and our youngest...we're not quite sure what she is yet - but it will probably not relate to the pirate theme...more on the outrageous side. I'll look for all you with the green thingys (we don't have them).
