I am about to book a room at Pop century (hopefully) for Dec. 19th - 23rd. Are there any room only codes that I can try??

Those are codes for packages.

I have not seen any room-only codes come out lately for December 2008.

You could call WDW for a AAA room only rate, but it might not be available at this point.
