Debra Messing aka Grace of "Will and Grace" gave birth to her baby boy yesterday...only something like 5lb 14oz. I think she had him a bit early. I *love* Will and Grace! Thought I'd update any fans out there!!

I had just read something about her doctor ordering her to stay off her feet so I wonder if she was having preterm issues. Glad to hear he was born and hopefully he is doing well!

She had to stay off her feet her last month and she couldn't tape the last 4 episodes for this season.

I think she has had a difficult pregnancy.

She is a wonderful actress.

You're right...she did...she was on bed rest for a while. I'm glad mom and baby boy are doing well though.

And I don't mean to get flamed here...but I've noticed that alot of ultra thin women tend to have more difficult pregnancies. (A coworker here, my cousin, and this actress...all very thin, all delivered early - albeit healthy - babies after being on bed rest.)

Did anyone hear what Debra named the little one?

Stinkerbelle, I agree with your post about very thin women, at least the ones in hollywood, having issues during pregnancy. I know Courteney Cox is so thin, and I just wonder if that had anything to do with her infertility. I also saw that Kate hudson gained 75 pounds, and she was rail thin.

That being said, Gwyneth Paltrow seems to be doing alright, and she was pretty thin.

I guess just like everything else, it depends on the person, however i'd imagine that a 5'6" woman who weighs 110 will have a major change to their body when they get pregnant. I'm sure the body goes into conserve mode and saves every pound it can.

I love Debra Messing. I noticed she had gained so much weight all over with this pregnancy. I'm happy for her. Thanks for the news!

damn - there goes my theory! heheh

Very true though...both these women seem to be doing/did fine!

Guess it really just depends on the person.

Just glad to know that everyone is doing well...
