I've been looking online for deals for our upcoming trip. Have you heard/read of any?

Haven't seen anything for when you are going. AAA still has the old park hopper prices up on their website. That's the best deal I see right now.

Try Last Minute Travel. They have not yet increased their pricing. I just bought 4 day hoppers for November...$188.82 for adults & $167.21 for kids. They have the best pricing I have found in over a year. We used them last year and had no difficulties.

If you do decide to go with them, PM me or post back here and I'll explain how their voucher is issued. Some people get confused by it, but it's really quite simple.

We booked our vacation (Flight + Hotel + DL Hopper tickets + others) through Southwest Vacations and bought 3 day hopper tickets at these prices:

3 Day Hopper $146 for adults
3 Day Hopper $125 for kids

This is what they had down for 4 days:
4 Day Hopper $161 for adults
4 Day Hopper $138 for kids

(Keep in mind, those were prices we got with booking a package.)

It looks like they have an option to buy just activities. The prices are more then what we paid with the package but still good. These are the prices I saw:

2 Day Hopper $161 for Adults
2 Day Hopper $146 for Kids

3 Day Hopper $186 for Adults
3 Day Hopper $165 for Kids

4 Day Hopper $201 for Adults
4 Day Hopper $178 for Kids

5 Day Hopper $211 for Adults
5 Day Hopper $186 for Kids

6 Day Hopper $216 for Adults
6 Day Hopper $190 for Kids

Hope I got that all right!

They are cheaper then Get away today! I tried PMing you but I don't have enough posts to so if you could send me a PM explaining their voucher I would appreciate it. Do you think the prices will go up in the next month?

I noticed at Albertsons yesterday when I went to buy some Disney gift cards that they still had some old 3 day park hoppers at the prices before the prices increase. I would not have noticed but the new Ariel one caught my eye and I noticed that one had the higher price on it. The ones before the price increase were still listed at the old price so it might be worth checking out the grocery stores to see if they still have old ones in stock (if they stop offering the cheaper priced ones online).

heater, I tried to post a response to you, but Disboards (or my internet connection, not sure which) went down and I couldn't get back on before bedtime. Then my computer crashed sometime today and the response I had saved on the clipboard got lost. I will have to retype everything later tonight after the kids go to bed. Please be patient with me.

heater, here is a summarized version of my lengthy lost post.

When purchasing through LMT, you will list your travel dates. When you place your order, they send a confirmation email. This is NOT the voucher for the ticket booth. In the past, they had been waiting to email the voucher until right before the date of the trip. This caused anxiety for people who weren't getting their vouchers right after purchase, so several people on the boards were putting in dates that were "right away" in order to get the voucher in hand right away. But....that voucher has a 60 day expiration date from the trip date you enter, so that plan could backfire if the voucher expires before your REAL trip date. That second email usually comes from Tourico Holidays, which is LMT's parent company.

It seems that their procedure may be different now. When I purchased 3 weeks ago, I put in a Nov 1st trip date. They emailed the voucher to me last week. It expires 60 days from Nov 1st.

The voucher gets taken to the ticket windows to exchange for the tickets. The person who did the purchasing will need to be present with photo ID.

I have no idea what they will do with their pricing in the future. I can tell you though, that they have been the least expensive option I've seen for well over a year. We got my husband's ticket from them last year. The only reason I used Getaway Today for the rest of our tickets was that we needed 6 day hoppers, and LMT only goes up to 5 days. (DH couldn't come for the entire trip, so he didn't need a 6 day ticket).

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Check out mousesavers, they have a company on there that is selling at a discount of the old prices.

I have a question.

The price you see when you first put the tickets into the cart...is that the total price you pay in the end? Or do they add taxes and fees when you start the checkout process?

So when entering the travel dates do we put in the days we will be at Disney or our entire trip dates?

Unless your vacation is going to be over 60 days (lucky you if that is the case :rotfl:) then it really shouldn't matter one way or the other.

Costco Travel still has the same deal they had before the ticket increase, at least for the few dates I spot checked.

They typically have the same price as Disney but offer additional perks, such as free Character Meal, Gift Card, Luggage Tags, Lanyards ect ect...

I feel we got a really great deal for our upcoming trip.

I'm still confused about Get Away Today &Last Minute Travel. Can I print my tickets from home like i would with disneyland.com?

Nope ~ you'll recieve a voucher *emailed to you* you'll take that to the ticket booths *or if you stay at a DLR hotel you can exchange your voucher there...* and swap the voucher for your park hoppers. Easy, can be a little time consuming but not really a big deal IMO.

Will i need ID and the credit card that i purchased it with? Swapping the voucher doesn't have to be done the same day that i am going in the parks does it?

ID would be needed for sure, I don't think I've had to show the card I purchased the PHs with *our PHs for our upcoming trip were paid for using paypal... You'd be fine picking up your PHs the day before you plan to visit the parks.

The reason i ask is because my dad will be paying for the tickets with his credit card. I have the same last name as him, but obviously not the same first name. How do you think that would work?
