Pandora has a holiday gift set for $200.00. It includes 2 clips and a special edition bead (it is very cute - looks like a present w/ red ribbon). Sounds like a lot but it is a good value. That is the best out there for now. A lot of been sold out already but check with your local sstore or look on line. I love Pandora!!! Wonderful gift!!!!

I was just looking at Pandora bracelets today. The sales clerk said they are running two deals right now. One is a bracelet with a a couple clips and charms for $200 but you cannot choose your own clips and charms. It comes with particular ones and that's your only option. The other deal was better (IMHO) - a bracelet and either 2 or 3 clips (can't remember for sure) and you get to pick a bead (up to $35). The cost of that one was $140. I don't know if all dealers are offering this tho.

I forgot to mention that Pandora is giving away an ornament with a $125. purchase. You could get the ornament free if you buy the gift set!!! I looked on pandora.net but I can't find the gift set for Christmas. They did have a few sets in a stoe I was in last week so I know some stores still have the sets.

ETSY!!! I got one off of Etsy.com that came with a bead for $18. It works just the same, and is good quality.

If you search on Etsy.com for pandora bracelets you will get a ton of hits for bracelets and beads.

If you put anything other than Pnadora on your Pandora bracelet then the warrantly is void. Stick with the real thing, they really are made very well. It is fun to pick out beads for gifts too. If you could find a store it would make it a lot eaiser since it is your first purchase. Good Luck!

Thanks for all the input! We ended up ordering from Reeds Jewelers. They had a Family Forever bracelet set that was $115 that came with two clips and a charm and free shipping. I did not think that was too bad!

i think most ppl just meant that if someone requests a specific brand as a gift, they really do want the brand. their reasons might vary for only wanting that brand, but it is a gift.

same with certain other brands: uggs, tiffany, nike, etc (all known for their quality). if one is happy with another brand for oneself, that is great, but i would stick with the requested brand on a gift, or get something else (unless of course, you know the person just wants a similar look).

Well....how did she like it?

I gave my DD a Pandora bracelet with one charm. Her face was precious! She is 12 and now feeling like she get to be in the grownup club.

Truthfully it was a free bracelet I got while buying charms for mine and her charm I got at a yard sale...lucky find. Brought it to Pandora for cleaning and I had a great gift that cost me vey little. That was good because I was already DONE with her Christmas shopping when I found the charm.

We did not love the customer service we recieved from the jewelry store we ordered from. We received the bracelet with the clips but no charm. We called and they said, "oh yes, the charm was backordered until after New Year's". They said to compensate for the inconvience they were only going to charge us for the bracelet and we would still receive the charm after Christmas at no cost. We thought that was more than fair! After several days I noticed we were not credited back for the cost of the charm. I called and they said they would take care of it. A little later they called my husband and said they could not give us credit for the charm-- It was part of the set. At this point we had already bought another charm to put on the bracelet (we did not want to give her a braclet without a charm so that was another $45). They said the best they could do would give us an in store credit of $25. We still have not seen that either. And oddly enough the charm that was on back order until after the first of the year was delivered Christmas Eve! We ended up giving her both charms.
What really irritates me is that we did not ask for them to give us credit for the charm --They offered and then a few days later they said they couldn't do that.
