Any current Disney Visa cardholders able to do this?

So just how many of you current Disney Visa cardholders were able to apply for another card in your name and get the $200 offer. I have got two of these offers, and a $150 one in the mail. But me and my husband both have a DV in our name.

Except I know our DV is under my DH name SS#. I have a card linked to his account.

Many online savings banks offer premiums for opening a savings account. Maybe that would be better than dinging your credit for a card you don't really need. Just a thought.

We tried and were declined. The reason was we already had one.
ETA we have 1 card but I believe both names are listed on the account.

We already had two Disney Visas--one in my name and one in both DH and my name... I got the $200 GC offer so I applied. I was approved and after the first use of it my statement showed the 200 points! I would like to think that I will have no trouble cashing those points in, but I'm not ready to do that yet, so I don't know for sure.

DH and I each got the $200 deal - so we each have one in our name and $400 total!!! Someone else on here mentioned that they had that PLUS one joint one with both their names. For a while we were getting the $200 offer at least once a week and we were just tossing them out !! Now, I'm waiting for one more, to see if we can get a joint one....

Eventually, we'll cancel them (after we've redeemed the points, of course!) and just have one Disney Visa and put everything on it (we pay off our cards every month).

Well I just chuncked all three of them in the trash. I will say though, last year I was able to max out the 5 times reward points on both cards, and I know you were'nt supposed to do that.

Make sure you USE the reward first too. I believe once you cancel, even if the points are trasnfered to the rewards card they cancel too.

I had a chase MC. I read about the $200 gift card, but didn;t get an offer in the mail. Someone gave me a link for a $100 giftcard so I filled it out and attached it to my exsisting Mastercard account. I was approved and when I used it, I got the giftcard in a few weeks. In the mean time I did get an offer in the mail for $150 rewards points after 1st use. I debated on sending that one in as well. I fianlly decided to about a week or so ago and asked for a second card with my DD's name on it (for emergancies sine she is traveling to Fl in July) I was logged into my account a few days ago and saw that the 2nd visa was approved as well. So once I get the card, I will use it once for the rewards and then tuck it away. I don't know if it made a diffence becasue I asked for a second card with another name or not. But both approved.

I already had a Disney Visa and saw the link on the boards here for the $100 GC offer so I figured what the heck and applied. Within 48 hours I had another Disney Visa showing up on my online account. Within 2 weeks after my first purchase, I had the GC. Awesome.

Just confirming, one would have to get an offer in the mail for the $200? I want to apply for one in DH's name! Of course would rather get $200 than $100.

From what I have read here the $200 offer is only for those who receive that specifc offer. I applied and got the $100 GC offer which is better than the $15 or $40 offer I found on line.

Sorry guys, it was a snail mail offer. We got the $150 one too.

I also just got a 50,000 point after first $500 of use American Express offer, which is worth $500 so I am going to apply for it first, then the DV.

Will opening lines of revolving credit hurt our credit score? We utilize way way under 50%, closer to 0% of our available credit.
