Any crazy folks going Easter week??

We will be there from the 19th-27. First time we ever went during a big holiday. But it's the only time we were able to get away.

I made lots of PS (which I normally don't bother with)
I put our visits to MK in the beginning and middle of trip. I want to spend the last 4 days away from MK. But my 2 girls love it so I planned them early on.

I thought I would do MGM Saturday and Epcot Easter Sunday.
But be there at opening and leave early and enjoy the resort in the afternoon.

It's nice to see other crazy people like us!!

We usually go in March, but we have always avoided the Easter week. We are traveling with friends who have a 10 yr. old DS :earsboy: . This will be their FIRST DISNEY EXPERIENCE!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: I hope the crowds don't scare them away!

We'll all be at POR from 3/29-4/2!!

:mickeybar Can you taste the Mickey bars?????????

We went Easter 2003. The crowds were LARGE but they were doable. I am in the same situation as I am a teacher & only have school breaks to go to Disney. We are going this year in Feb. instead of Easter week.

Just keep in mind that the crowds will be larger & PLAN, PLAN PLAN accordingly.

We're going for a short stay just before Easter, actually checking out of CR on Easter morning. We did this last year, and it was wonderful! Just do as everyone has suggested, go early and plan on spending the afternoons elsewhere. We did this, and never made it back to the parks for the evenings - we were having too much fun at the resort (at AKL last year).

We went in 2002 and had a rough time adjusting to the crowds as we had never been at a busy time before! The weather was glorious but the people were kind of rude.

The main reason we're going back at this time again is due to a convention nearby and leftover PHs. I think since it's only the two of us and mainly me who will really hit the rides we can handle it.

We'll definitely plan on taking it easy when we encounter crowds and relax in our room more this trip!

I do worry about any first-timers though!

We usually visit WDW during the slower times but DH informed me last weekend that he wanted to spend his b-day this year at WDW since he's taking me to DL for my b-day (and DL's 50th) in May. His b-day this year is actually on Easter so I didn't have a lot of hope for getting a reservation. DH mainly wants to get his b-day button at City Hall and see if the Magic still exists even when the park is crowded.

We're DVC members so I called there first - no studios available (peak season and only a few points left for the year) so I wait-listed then called CRO to check on AP rates...nothing available. I booked a rack rate room at POFQ as a fall back (NEVER paid rack rate in our lives) when we realized we could get a better rate at the Swan/Dolphin. Not Disney resorts but like the location and have nevr stayed there. Once I get this reservation booked and confirmed, DVC calls to say our wait list has come through for SSR. So, cancelled the first two reservations and we're off to our home resort.

DD16 and I are going 26 Mar til 1 Apr. Spring break for her, using our AP's again, and this is the only time we'll be able to go since she will have a summer job! We usually go Memorial weekend (school gets out the Friday before). Since we have been plenty of times before, but never at Easter, we are just taking it easy and doing whatever we are able to do but don't have alot of expectations for many rides in case the crowds are difficult to handle. This is going to be our "people watching" "shopping" and "relaxing" trip! With lots of fine dining! We are staying at CBR for the first time and are looking forward to a "new" resort experience. Can't wait!

We will be there from March 27-April 5. We plan on Checking in only on Easter. Play at the pool, maybe mini golf. Have PS for Cape May. I am scaring myself with these crowds but will plan on going early in the parks for at least the first part of the trip.

Unfortunately, I won't be there, but my sister & her crew are going. POFQ from 3/28 - 4/2. She thinks she's going for a "relaxing vacation!" HAHAHAHA

And we are first timers!!! We will be at the POR 3/21 - 3/28, had to go at this time, cause the kids are off school. I have planned and re-planned (I have to leave it alone at this point) so I hope everything goes well. I can't wait!!!!

I'm going to be staying at CBR from April 24-31. Can't wait..it will be me and my dd.

We will be there too 3/20-30th I made PS for Fantasmic on Easter Sunday...Doing H/V at 4:30 then on to the early show. I have made a bunch of PS (at least one a day) we will probablly be eating breakfast in our room, and then counter service (with a few vouchers!!!) and then 6pm sit down dinners. Trying to keep the expectations low, but really feel we need some kind of planning to help keep everyone happy. I also have my list of places that deliver pizza in case of emergency!!

We're not only going for Easter week, which we know is insane, but we're driving down instead of our usual flying! We haven't driven down in years. Calgon, take me away!
