The email I got from DMR was just a link to Amazon. I printed the Doc McStuffins coupon, but I wanted to get Pocahontas, Rescuers, Tigger Movie and probably the Rescuers as well (Don't tell my husband! ;) )

I'm in the same boat - need all of the ones being released tomorrow (although I think I'm skipping the Tigger movie). Best option I've seen is if ou buy 2 you get $10 off a Best Buy (selling for $22.99 each for blu-ray) bringing them down to $17.99 each. Target price matches but I believe they are selling them for $24.99 each so Best Buy is still better deal. Kind of sad more promotions not out there for such great movies being released tomorrow.:happytv:

I might have to pick which ones I buy then. I'm really surprised that Disney isn't releases at least $5 of coupons.

I don't think Disney "has to" do the coupon thing, any longer...

...reason being is that Disney was one of the early studios responsible for initially getting the Blu-ray format off the ground -- those early coupons pretty much guaranteed folks with a bookshelf full of 1980's-90s "clamshell" VHS cases (or DVDs for the later crowd) would glady "upgrade" to the next big thing.

Now that Blu-ray has cemented its' place in home video sales (and the prices of both BR discs/players have dropped significantly), there's no need for Disney to offer discounts on some of their lesser-known flims, such as the ones they've released over the past couple of weeks.

I am Java. I am 46. And I will be rushing out to buy the Rescuers!

Understandable, but then some people like me won't buy them. Even something as little as a $3 or $5 coupon helps encourage me to buy a movie I might not normally want like The Rescuers or the Aristocats. My DH will probably be happy anyways ;) I'm sure Disney has done their research though and I'm in the minority.

Me too! I grew up in the 70's when there weren't many good Disney movies. The Rescuers was the only Disney movie I can remember going to the theaters to see. It has a special place in my heart.

Also got an email from DMV that they are giving double points if you buy this week. (I think that was the time frame)

Correct on the double points (I believe only for a week). I am purchasing 4 of the movies which should give me enough points now to get the Boo figure (from Monsters Inc. ) I've had my eye on.
