room key cards for the family. Since each person has their own Disney card (we'll be on the Deluxe Dining) I'm not sure if I'll hold them all and deal them out at meal time. Are there any cool ways to give each his/her own card?

**I posted this question on the family board by accident before I knew about this "tips" board. I'm so glad that there are other tip-happy, organizational enthusiasts out there. Just to share: My favorite tip that I read lately was to put a collapsable/foldable big bag (maybe mesh or thin canvas) in the bottom of the stroller. So, at the end of the day when you have to collapse your stroller to take bus/monorail then you can put all of the goodies/purchases/bags from the day into the one big bag. That way, you're not assigning bag-carrying-duty to everyone at the end of the day. You can get your stuff back to the room easier. Great tip, I thought!

at most stores in the world, you can buy id holders that have a plastic square pocket and a silver mickey ears clip (I think they are marketed for holding fast passes).
Since your family is on the dining plan, you only need 1 of your cards at mealtime, not all of them--unless things have changed--each card lists everyone on the plan.

Yup, you just need one person's card at meal time. All the credits are listed on everyone's cards. If you are paying for the meal (tip) OOP, you'll need to use an adult's card...unless you gave your children charging privs.

I got a holder from WalMart. It is a clear plastic rectangle pocket thing on a lanyard. I hold all the tickets, FPs, etc. Each person gets their park tickets to enter the parks, then I gather them up and keep them in my holder.

yepp! thats one of the best suggestions :)

Okay, I'm loving the mesh bag in the stroller idea. What kind/size?

I'm thinking beach bag size. Something to fit in the bottom of the stroller but big enough to hold everything at the end of the day...

One thing to keep in mind when storing your cards is that if they rub together on the magnetic side, they become invalid. We did not have the problem in 2006, but we had to have our cards redone about 5 times in 2007. I stored them without the magnetic sides touching (or tried to) but they would not let us in our room, pay for food, let us in to the parks. It was a real pain to have to wait in line and constantly get new ones issued.
They do give you the cards in these little paper envelopes you are supposed to keep them in. I finally learned my lesson after the 5th time getting new cards issued.....:rotfl:

I put the confirmation numbers in my cell phone before leaving the house so I don't have to remember to bring it.

This is great even if you are not at Disney. This is great for going through airports prior to gatechecking, etc.

Pack an outfit for each day in a seperate zip lock baggie.

Makes getting dressed quick, and easy to unpack.
