*Any Cool Activities at Port Orleans?

I am staying at POFQ in May, on a solo trip. Are there any activities or fun things to try around Riverside or French Quarter? I want to really enjoy my resort.

I don't know what "cool" might be to you, but here are the reasons we loved POFQ and the resort area.

It really feels like you are in your own little french quarter on the river away from all the hussle of the parks. There are many different routes and walk-ways throughout the resort and connecting to POR, which has many beautiful walks as well through their plantation-esque buildings. Last trip we just wandered all the paths on an afternoon and evening break and just enjoyed the greenery and theming. POR has boat and fishing rentals, which might interest some. I also personally love taking the boats to DTD...what a relaxing and beautiful ride!!!!

The fact that it is small, quaint, and on gorgeous grounds is enough to bring me back again and again!!!! That is "cool" to me!

Many things to do over at POR near the boat area. Rent differnt type of boats from kayaks to mini motorboats,I think Bikes can be rented and even fishing.

they have some activities at the pool area as well.

We really enjoyed our POFQ stay but it was halloween so they had all kinds of stuff going on.

Fishing with the bambo poles is great.

We stayed there two years ago with our children. My DD age 5 at the time is really into horses. We took a horse drawn carriage ride around the resort. It was great! Our guide was really nice and did a great job along with our horse; Travis.
