any comminities within walking distance to restaurant

Could you tell me are there any communities a close drive to WDW, that you can also park up the car if you wish on an evening and walk to a nearby restaurant?

Do you mean walk from your hotel or rental home, or just a nice area to park and walk around to eat?

From a rental home, i have looked at some private homes that say they are within walking distance of formosa shopping village, but when i look on a map it does not appear that way. It is so we can on some evenings leave the car and enjoy a couple of glasses of wine with our meal and have a nice walk back!

I see! Sorry but I'm not familiar with rental homes. I think some people's idea of walking distance is different than others' though!

If you can google the address of the property you're looking at, you probably have a good idea if that's possible.

It would be a longish, but doable, walk from Formosa Gardens homes and homes in that general vicinity. However, it would be longer than *I* would care to do after walking around the parks all day. Upwards of 1/2 mile, and possibly much longer depending on where your home is in a community.
