We looked at one today. And I qualify for the D plan....

Anyone own one? Looking for all comments - positive and negative.

TIA

I know Consumer Reports likes it better than they did the Windstar. (but Consumer Reports still rates the honda and toyota vans as the best).

The FreeStyle is not a van, but is what is known as a "crossover" vehicle. Sort of a mix of a suv and a car. Now the Ford FreeStar is what replaced the Windstar.

Check out the discussion groups at Edmunds.com. They have specific groups for each vehicle make and model. Good luck!

I just turned one in, after a 2 year lease. I loved mine :) , it was great on gas & very comfortable. Very good acceleration :tilt:! We had the 2nd row bucket seats with the divider between & the kids were thrilled. The 3rd row was big enough for 2 adults, and it still had a good amount of luggage space in the back. I would highly recommend it.

I would have leased another, but I fell in love with the 4 door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited!

Oops - I do that all the time with those 2 cars. With the names being so similiar. Never mind what I said then

We're looking at one of these too. I'm pretty sure I want to get the second and third row bench seats though. We are having a baby soon, and have a BIG puppy who will spend the whole ride trying to see what the baby is up to if he can fit between the bucket seats. :)

My husband's cousin is a Ford mechanic, and he said they have had very few issues with these. The only problem he could see is that they haven't really been around long enough to see what problems may develop.

Good luck

We got one in August and we absolutely love it.:goodvibes We got the 2nd row bucket seats. So it seats 6. It drives wonderful, very smooth. We went from a Grand Cherokee, to the Freestyle and I don't miss the Jeep at all. It was just to small with 3 kids. And the Freestyle gets better gas mileage than the Jeep did.

Has anyone who drives one found that it doesn't have very much power? It seems to be something mentioned by the reviewers a lot. I'm not sure if they're used to something with a bigger engine, or if there really is an issue.

I probably will notice that, as I have a 5.4L V8, and DH's truck is a V10.
