Any CM's or family of CM's out there???

Hi!
I have started a Stroller Swap at WDW. I'm hooking up w/ another DISer and she's passing it to me. We are asking pple to add a lime green ribbon w/ their name on it as well as fill out a page in the stroller book. This book will contain the who, what, where and whens as well as the funniest/silliest place the stoller has been. I have about 20 pple on the list now swapping through the next 3 months pretty steadily. My problem is that dates don't always jive and although I have had some wonderful offers to "stroller sit" for us I still have a few open dates that the stroller needs to be "sat" lol I really want this to happen, it started as a way to save money but with pple hooking up and the adding of the ribbon and book it's become more then just a budget idea. If you are a CM or a family member of one I would love to have you contact me and see if there is some way that you could help to keep this swap going!!! Imagine the looks that pple will give our baby blue stroller that is trying to become lime green!!!!!
I truly appreciate any help that you can give me!!!!!

What an incredible idea. I don;t need a stroller anymore, but am sure there have got to bo lots of people who can benefit from this.

We don't use a stroller, because our kids are big. I do think it's a great idea, and next time we are there I'd be thrilled to stroller sit if it's needed. Sounds like it'll be cute. Can we see a picture?

You might try changing the subject to something like are you going to be at WDW - and the dates you need a stroller sitter.

Thanks! It's a little hard for me to change the subject heading since there are dates scattered throughout the next 8 months or so. The link is on the Budget Board at the top and it's called Stroller Swap List. It has a list of all the users and their dates. A mod was kind enough to have it permanently put at the top for me. I don't have a picture of the stroller just yet as I haven't seen it yet! This is all new and the stroller just went down last week so when the first user gets back she will post a pic of it. Hopefully as pple use and decorate it they will post their pics of it and we can all see how it changes....Thanks Dan! That was kind of you. It's funny how things can get a life of their own, the list has users in 2004 already!!!!

Mom, I think we have to keep it right up top on the families board also, since they are the primary users of strollers. I just bumped it up this morning.

actually...I had more hits on the budget board. I orginally posted on both boards and the bb had more hits so I concentrated on that one. But hey! I'll take requests from anyone from anywhere!

Neat idea!!

We do have little ones but we just bought a new stroller specifically with WDW in mind. It's a Baby Trend Sit & Stand so the baby and our 5yr old can ride together.

I wish you much luck finding more families & would love to see pictures when all those ribbons start getting added!!
