If you are asking if "we" think this is wrong...I can only answer for myself when I say yes I think it is wrong. Not only does it teach your children that they can lie in order to get what they want, but it also places both the Disney company and FL residents at an economic disadvantage by your deception.

Maybe I should rephrase my ??: is there a problem with their grandmother purchasing tix for her grandchildren as a gift at a FL resident rate since she is a FL res and they are being purchased with her $$?
Accusing me of teaching my kids to lie to get what they want is over the top don't u think? My ?? was directed at the idea that she is their grandmother, purchasing them with her $$ as a gift, so I didn't see this as teaching my kids to lie or be deceptive, just asking if this is something valid (I understand they are not FL res but she is purchasing them as a gift for kids so was thinking this wasn't a deceptive move). Now, if I gave her $$ to buy those tix and tix for me and my hubby and proceeded to somehow fake my ID/address...then I could see where I would be deceptive. I was asking if this is ok with the system since they were gifts, I am buying tix for me and my neice (who is also a child) with my own $ at a nondiscounted rate. I am not trying to be deceptive..(If I were I'd at least be having her buy another ticket for my neice). I was looking at it as along the lines of non-FL res booking rooms along with FL ressie and getting their hotel discounts.
As I look back at it, I see that my thinking is a little misquided and I can see a point here from the other side, but I take exception to the idea that I am some low-life who teaches my kids to lie.
