Any Club 33ers on the Dis?

I'm always impressed with how polite you kind dis'ers are to the many newbies that come on here and ask if anyone would get them into club 33. you are all so kind.
the posts kinda make me laugh when i see them, and since i needed a laugh, i read through the thread.
i decided to finally listen to the advice many have said about asking around if anyone i know happens to be a club 33 member. i was sure it wouldn't amount to anything.

i just posted on facebook and within 5 minutes found out my college roommate's brother may be a member. she is gonna see if he is (or if he just gets to go because he knows someone) and if he would possibly get us a ressie on our up coming trip. INSANE!!!!! i'm excited about the mere possibility.

yeah, check around...cuz you NEVER know who has those connections...

I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy lunch there last summer. My DH knew that going to Club 33 was on my bucket list so he put his networking prowess to work and found a friend of a friend who made it happen.

You may not know someone who is a member, but it doesn't hurt to put the word out because you never know who THEY know

Yay! Hope you are able to go to Club 33! It is so true that you never know who may have the connection to get into the Club. Hubby and I love Disneyland and go often and randomly found out one day that his brother could get us into Club 33! Crazy! His brother had absolutely no idea how exclusive Club 33 was and how badly Disney fans want a table. He hasn't even taken his own family . Anyway, just keep searching for your connection. Instead of 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, play 6 degrees to Club 33!

That was how it worked for us too, LOL. My Dad's friend had invited my dad and his wife for dinner there before but they never took him up on it because they are not Disney people and had no clue what Club 33 even was. I just happened to hear that the person was going there for dinner so I asked my Dad if he was a member or a guest of someone (and my Dad asked him). When his friend confirmed it was his membership, my Dad asked if he would make a reservation for me and my family, the friend said "sure, no problem." I couldn't believe it was that easy, LOL.
