We just ended our season (July-April) And Tryouts start again next week!!! We also got our planned competitions for next year and WOW!! It is going to be an expensive year!!!
We do love this sport it has been a great experience for us.
Just wanted to know if other cheer parents feel that once your child gets on a competition squad that YOUR life becomes Cheering!! (practices, raising money, travel ect...)
And also is competition cheerleading becoming as popular as it is here in Florida all over???

but a recent cheerleader
And then our senior year we received the opportunity to perform a routine in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade so we were raising more money for that as well....it was worth every penny and every ounce of practice---that was truly fabulous. It's kind of overwhelming actually, but I will tell you that your daughter will appreciate you all the more for it once she's done. The 7 years I cheered (Middle, High, and College) are remembered very fondly and I have great memories.
