I know that when you book with WDW you receive the 6 months 0% financing. Does anyone know if that includes your airfare? I realize the airfare must be paid in full at the time of booking but do you receive the 0% for 6 months on that portion of the trip? TIA and hope the ? makes sense:)

If you book your airfare with Disney then it is added to your vacation total. You have to pay for it at booking but it just shows up as part of your total. So yes it is included in the 6 months 0% interest part. That is how I have always done it. It just shows as Walt Disney Travel Company or something. Hope that helps!:)

Thanks! That is exactly what I needed to know:goodvibes

usually booking airfare through disney is more expensive though, so look around!!

Yes, I ALWAYS shop for the lowest. Right now though I can get RT for about $180 per person which is pretty comparable to what we've spent the last few years. I don't see the price going down but I'm worried it may go up!

When I booked our Disney trip last August, I had just received and started using the Disney Visa. We are thinking of going back at the end of May, and I was wanting to use it again. I decided to look back at my old statements and see if they charged any interest on the other charges besides the disney tickets. Mind you, I booked a separate hotel off site (good neighbor hotel, but I booked it directly through the hotel for a better deal) We did charge a lot of Disney food & shopping on the card too, but we also had things like Seaworld, Old Town trolley tours, Amtrak and lots more! The entire charges were 0% for 6 months! I called to see if we could get the same deal this time, but apparently it's a promotional deal for the first time users and then after that it's only the Disney booked packages that apply, including cruises. If anyone thinks this doesn't seem right, please let me know. We are still going to use the card either way, because they said if I charge right now the first payment won't be due until 5/15 (I changed the due date to coincide with DH payroll) and it's only 2% of the balance then...I plan on paying the entire charge off in July anyway, so it's ok if we have to pay a couple of months of interest...

As far as the airfare, since it was going to be one of the largest charges and we don't have a large credit limit, I used a different card to pay for it, but I'm assuming that had I used the disney visa, it would have also been at 0%. Not sure if you have used your card before though, so I think that deal is just for first timers? Just thought I'd chime in, hope it works out for you!
