Any changes in their Carry-On Policy?

I had heard that Disney is very liberal in allowing any carryon beverages as long as it not in ice and whatever it is can fit into the x-ray machine.
Is this still so???
Leave in the AM and want to know if I can stop at a local store before boarding or am I going to take out a loan to pay for on board beverages(especially bottled water).

I was just on the Magic today. When we boarded on 5/31, lots of people were carrying in cases of water & soda etc. It didn't look to be a problem as long as you can carry it. Have a great trip!

Wish I were on Magic, But this is our Family Cruise test run to see how the little ones (and their parents) handle a cruise. Maybe next year.
