Any Chance?

We were thinking of doing a short trip to WDW this summer, 4 nights, and we really wanted to stay in Beach Club but can't afford the high rates. So to make this story short I thought about renting points to get a standard studio. I have just learned however that this is a really busy time. We want to travel one of the last three weeks of July and stay Monday-Thursday nights. If BCV wasn't available we would also like BWV, AKV, or WLV. Do you think any of these will be available?

You'd have a better chance of getting something at OKW or SSR. BCV books up very early for summer because of SAB. VWL is the smallest DVC at WDW. AKV is the newest and I think it is booked up until Jan. BWV is very popular during the summer and also books up early. OKW and SSR are the largest DVC resorts at WDW. Hence, greater chance of availability.

No way to tell about availability until an owner calls to check. IT changes frequently. Post your request on the Rent/Trade Forum and see what happens.

AKV is the newest and I think it is booked up until Jan.

Just last week (April 13) we booked a studio at AKV for July 27. MS said there were still more nights available but we only wanted to add the one night before we check into BCV on July 28.
