Any Chance of Getting into the Seminar?????

I have never been to MouseFest or a Dis function, even though I have been a board member for many, many years. My DH got me an IPod for my birthday and in August I discovered PodCasts. More importantly, I discovered the Dis PodCast. I have been listening to the podcasts talking about Disapalooza and thought it might be fun to go. Then I heard about the seminar last week via the podcast and decided I had to go. So I have been calling every day to get a room at DVC. Yesterday, I got a 1 BR at OKW, got permission from my boss to take off, found someone to watch the dog, and came home to make airline reservations and convince DH to take off work and come with me. I came on the boards for registration information (as I thought it was closing the 28th) and found out that everything had closed by noon yesterday. I know this is my fault for not paying closer attention so please don't flame me.

I realize that it is probably too late to get into the Disapalooza events, but do you think it is possible that if I throw caution to the wind and come down and stand at the door there will be cancellation tickets sold at the last minute? I am willing to make the trip on a "maybe".

Any advice is appreciated.

Unfortunatley if you weren't signed up for the TSM party, you are not able to get into the seminar. All the information is on the first Disapalooza stickey thread.

Like Andrea said, unfortunately you are not going to be able to attend the TSM event or the seminar, however...

if you are still willing and able to come down, there are several other non-official functions and meets going on. If you check out the first page of the DAP thread, Todd (jeanigor) posted a list of all the unofficial meets. People are meeting to see YeeHaw Bob on Thursday evening, we've got about 150 people attending Drink Around the World (Showcase) at Epcot on Friday evening, a volunteer group is getting together at Give Kids the World on Saturday morning, and there is also a group going to MVMCP on Sunday night, among many other things. There are threads about these events also on the boards, you just have to search for them.

Come join us anyway!

I just want to add that we will not be allowing anyone entry into the event who is not pre-registered with credentials.

There will be no mechanism to permit people access 'at the door' who do not have credentials and who do not appear on our sign-up sheets that we will be supplying to Disney.
