Any chance of Chef Mickey next week first in line?

So no reservation, but a group of 7 wants to know if they can just be first in line in the AM, and maybe get in? How early if so etc? TIA.

Highly unlikely, but you can try. You may get lucky and another large party got wise and decided it was worth it to pay $10 a person for a no show than eat that stuff they call food. LOL

They can try but I hope they are not counting on it happening. They will be Among a slew of their new best friends who ae trying to do the same thing.

Unfortunately, the chances of getting in without an ADR is very slim. I would suggest checking for cancellations for smaller groups the days leading up to the date they want to have breakfast. It would be more likely that they can find two reservations for 4 and 3 (for example) that are close in time. Good luck!

I agree with the previous posters, those early morning ADR's are always prime time, a lot of families want to eat, see the character and get into the parks before it get to crowded or hot. So I honestly don't think its going to happen. I would call Disney Dinning and see if there is anything available.

The important thing to remember is Disney isn't like Chili's in the mall, they won't just take a name and seat you when they can. If they are booked up, they can't take more guests. Every once in a while they'll be able to work in a walk up party but that is the exception, rather than the rule. So if they get online and see that no ADR is open for a group of 7:00 at the time they plan to go, then there is no opening for a group of 7 at the time they plan to go and they won't be seated.

Now, it never hurts to ask but it does waste time that could be spent doing something else. I suggest trying the Wave downstairs or even Contempo Cafe next to CM. Both have WAY better food. That should tell you just how poor it is, when a QS is better

I would not be happy if I couldn't get an ADR to Chef Mickey's, it's one of our favorite places to eat! I will have to agree though, probably not a good chance of walk up seating. Have a back up plan and keep looking! Things pop up all the time, even for larger groups. Check the cancelation threads too! Good luck!

I know when we were they last year (Chef Mickeys") they turned away several families around 9:30 that didnt' have ADR's - imagine littles just in tears because they were hungry (and tired, i assume) and dissapointment

I agree with PP - check for smaller groups around the same time

Thanks will keep checking. They have a "secret runner" that was going to check in first thing and communicate back any luck, but even that sounds like its not recommended. Its no biggie, these are realistic people.

1) This will not work.
2) Until the entire party is there, they will not even attempt to seat you.
3) And, without an ADR, they would probably not even entertain the question with people missing.
