Any chance Haunted Mansion refurb will open earlier than scheduled?

We are checking out on December 19th. ny chance the Haunted Mansion refurb might open back earlier than the scheduled date of the refurb. Just wondering if they ever get done a day or two early with a refurb and open an attraction back up sooner than expected.

Unlikely because they would need to know this around 3 weeks in advance in order to get people on the schedule.

The only exception is if the rehab requires a soft opening due to some major change to the attraction.

I never even considered this. I will now remove even the 5% sliver of hope I was holding onto that I'd be able to ride on our last day.

Just an FYI- haunted mansion FP+ is now open for 12/13. I just went to book an extra day on our trip and saw it. When I checked 12/12 it says closed for refurb. So maybe you're in luck!

Just an FYI- haunted mansion FP+ is now open for 12/13. I just went to book an extra day on our trip and saw it. When I checked 12/12 it says closed for refurb. So maybe you're in luck!

This is awesome news! I was holding out like a 5% chance it might be open by our last day at MVMCP on the 16th, but I never imagined this! I can't decide if I should book a FP for it. We will be there the 13th with a 3am close so it should be pretty easy to ride.

I am SO excited! We are going down just for the weekend from Alabama to go to MVMCP Friday night. We are going to try to suffer through the cold weather to take advantage of EMH at MK on 12/13, which means we can ride HM! Yippee

War Eagle! I'll most likely have on an Auburn hoodie and a custom Auburn Magic Band. We just got here (well, at Universal for one day) tonight from North Alabama! We will be at the MK the 12 in the AM and the 13th in the PM. See you there!

This would be awesome. I am going down 12/13-21. If it was the 19th as originally scheduled, it would be cutting it real close and I'd only get on it once.
