Any chance for October??

We are currently in the process of waiting on ROFR on a BWV contract. I really would like to take our first trip during mid-October trip, and I am just curious what our chances are of getting a studio (first choice) or 1 BR (second choice) at any of the resorts. OKW would be our last choice, and I'm not even sure if we would go if it came down to that, simply because the main pool would be under rennovation, and I know we would be spending a lot of time at the pool. If all goes well w/ ROFR, we should be closed by mid June - think we have any chance - and if so, where would our best chance be??

Last week I called on availability of a 1 bedroom at BCV and VWL. VWL had availability on 10/16 and 10/23. BCV only had availability on 10/23. I was looking for a 1 week reservation. We did not book instead I booked the eastern cruise on 10/16.

I was able to add on a one-bedroom boardwalk view for 10/24-10/27 to my existing reservation when my in-laws decided, last week, that they wanted to join us for a few days!! I was hoping to get them a studio, but 1-bedroom boardwalk views were the only ones available. I was actually surprised that anything was available at the BWVs for October at 5 months out.
