Any chance for getting a park res this Friday? (June 16)

I'm flying down Fri morning for DD's graduation from UCI on Sat. She will be working at DL on Friday until 3:30, and today she asked if I wanted to come and see her on Main St (Pluto). I would have just enough time to check in to the hotel, Uber over, see her in action and then she'd drive me back to the hotel.

I have an Inspire pass but I can't get a reservation that day according to the calendar. I'm sure last minute reservations on a Friday in June are hard to get. Is it very likely that one will open up? I'd love to see her. I would have about an hour in the park, but I'd see my girl in action

Yep. Just keep checking periodically. Probably a number of cancellations will occur tomorrow as people change their minds about going and you will be able to snag a Friday reservation. I have gotten a number of next-day reservations by checking the app frequently the day before, especially after 8 PM. Congratulations to your daughter on graduating!

We often book/change reservations the day before. Keep checking and something will pop up. Since you will be arriving after 11 am, you can make a reservation at either park.

You know, I had completely forgotten about that! I saw a reservation come up for DCA last night and didn't even think about the fact that I could use it and hop over to DL *head smack*. But it worked out because both parks were available this morning.

Friday is showing up for me right now (Believe) so definitely think there is a good chance. I just cancelled Sunday reservations (hubby wanted to golf on father’s day so taking the kids saturday solo) so yes keep checking!!!

Thank you all so much! It was incredible. I stayed and watched the whole set, and it made my heart swell to see the delighted faces of the children AND adults who felt the love from Pluto and gave it back in spades. There was one guy who would make me a little nervous if I met him outside of DL, but he went up to Pluto and they had the cutest exchange!! He looked so tough but there he was, breaking into a smile and having a great time with Pluto and vice versa. One young woman couldn't stop jumping up and down and shaking her hands in excitement. A little boy dressed as Pinocchio wanted to put his little plush Jiminy Cricket on Pluto's snout and Pluto knelt down so that he could.

At the end of the set, I got to walk around the Main St Town Square (past the train station, past the firehouse and back to the Mad Hatter area) on Pluto's arm. What a heartwarming experience! Thank you all for your wonderful comments and well wishes.
