Any chain restaurant gift card promotions?

Last year Applebees had a promotion that for every $25 in gift cards you purchased, they would give you a $5 gift card. A coworker of mine said that Chili's did the same thing last year. Does anyone know of any chain restuarants that are doing similar promotions this year?

Honestly I haven't seen a chain around here that ISN'T offering the $5 for every $25...Uno's, Texas Roadhouse, TGIF, Applebees. I think this year the majority of the chains are offering it.

Outback Steakhouse has a promotion where if you buy $100.00, you get a gift card for $20.00. The $20.00 ones are only good from Jan 1 thru Feb 15.

we are buying these as gifts for sure this year and have the $25 towards our meal

We've taken advantage of deals like this just for ourselves. Just last week, we bought a $100 gift card to a local restaurant (not a chain) and got a $20 gift card for free. Plus, I paid with my Discover card which is giving 5% cashback on restaurant charges, so the deal really only cost me $95 for $120 worth of gift cards.

Not restaurants, but some malls are doing a deal where if you buy 3 mall gift cards (at least $20 each) you get a $15 gas card.

If you live in New England, Margaritas restaurant is doing the same - buy $50 and get a $10 bonus to be used in Jan/Feb. I've done both Applebees and Margaritas this year so far!
