I have a question for an expert. My friend is having to pull up all her almost new carpet because it's rippling in some rooms. The installer is replacing it for free saying it was a carpet "defect".
I'm looking online and seeing that most rippling is caused by installer error (i.e. they didn't stretch it correctly). It makes me think that the installer screwed up and is now saying it was a defect to cover themselves. Could this be true and also, is the carpet reusable?
