Any Canadians Used Grocery Delivery?

I am trying to get groceries delivered to the DLH through Albertson's or Von's but when you checkout they have no way of entering your billing address as being Canadian (can't put in Prov. or postal code). Has anyone from Canada successfully done this online? Did you have to phone the store directly? I would like to have the groceries delivered to the hotel rather then going out myself (just easier if possible). Any help would be appreciated.

Nope!! :sad2: This has been asked a few times on the board, and sadly, the stores have not allowed Canadians to place grocery store orders to hotels. :( I had emailed both stores and received a reply stating it is not possible. I think a person could easily take a cab to the nearest store, and stock up on a few things, and the cab fare would be very inexpensive. I'm interested to see the replies to this post, and I'd really love it if the grocery stores would eventually change their websites to allow that to happen for Canadians. :)

I am beginning to think that instead of staying in the hotel for the suggested time for delivery it may just be easier to get a cab and grab my own groceries. My DS and DH can lounge by the pool after we arrive and I'll run to get supplies. Thanks for the info though, I was about to try and call them in the morning to see if they would take a phone order but I think I may as well cab it.

:thumbsup2

I know that some of the hotels have a grocery service, so maybe check and see? The Marriott Residence Inn has one......
