Any Canadians stay at Windsor Hills?

Just looking for feedback.

Although we are booked currently at the POLY for 10 days, I'm finding the price hard to swallow ($5200 for 10 days and hopper passes). That doesn't even include food or flights!

So we're thinking about possibly staying at Windsor Hills in a 3 bedroom townhouse.

Has anyone from Canada stayed there?

Thanks for any advise or tips anyone can provide.

We stayed in a 6 bedroom house in Windsor Hills last May. We LOVED it!!!! It was close and lots of restaurant choices close by. I know about that budget thing. I looked at the house we stayed at and even with pool heat (your own private pool) during November it would only be $1600 for the 10 days, that is one heck of a savings. And this is a 3000 sq ft home which is probably bigger than what you need, but just an example. The more money I can save the more times I can go see the mouse.

we stayed at a condo in WH last summer, and loved it so much that we are returning this summer and staying in a 3 bedroom townhouse (we want to try the splash pool). We LOVED it- the location is great, you can't beat the value- we love having space for all 5 of us to spread out, and we each get to watch out own tv shows, or shower at our leisure without having someone else waiting for the bathroom... For us this truly provides a RELAXING Disney vacation, so that we come home rested and not having that "sardine" feeling from being too close for too long. The pool area is nice, has a nice waterslide, and a zero entry. My kids were more than happy to spend loads of time there. We never got a chance to use the theatre but intend to try it this time round. I honestly cannot think of one bad thing to say about WH- and neither can my very picky husband. I have stayed at both the Poly and Windsor Hills. There is definately something to be said about the feeling of staying at the Poly, but you pay for that. I stayed at Windsor Hills in a 3 bedroom condo 2 years ago, and we are going back again this March. We like staying in a condo. I wouldn't stay in a hotel room again. Having a living room to sit in, and a kitchen to keep some supplies in, is something I wouldn't vacation without. The fact that it is cheaper is just an added bonus

We've booked a townhouse for September in WH. Have only heard great things about WH and can't wait to get there!

We stayed in a condo last April at Windsor Hills. Loved it, Loved it, loved it!
It was easy to get to everything, had all the amenities we needed as well as lots of space to unwind at the end of the day! Definitely will go back again!

We stayed in a 3 bdrm condo last march and we LOVED it too!! Amazing complex, felt very safe, beautiful pool ... come to think of it I wonder why we didn't pick it again for this upcoming trip I really wanted our own pool this time and the houses in WH were just a bit too much for our budget. Lowest I could get in March was $1800 for 10 nights ... not bad if we had a larger group, but for just my family of 4 and my parents, it was a bit big and a bit much for us. So we went with another area this time. The difficult part of this upcoming March trip, is that so many homeowners had a higher rate as it is coinciding near Easter dates which are typically peak travel time. Hopefully we can get a good deal next March break when Easter isn't so close

We had a home there last March. Nothing beats staying in a home or condo over a hotel room - especially if you have kids. We only used the clubhouse amenities once since we had our own pool but I have to warn all of those with kids that my DD7 went down the twisting slide.....she was just over the height restriction...and as she came down I could hear thumping and in fact the slide had flipped her and when she came out the bottom she had a goose egg on her head like I had never seen before!! The lifeguard was fast to respond and attentive but I would NEVER asllow my kids to go back on that slide - even looking at photos, the first turn seem too sharp for a normal tube slide.

I had heard that too from a couple of other dis'ers about the slide, but my 6 yr old used it last year and had no problems at all, as well as other children her height with no problems. Remember that the person standing there watching the slide is NOT a lifeguard, just an attendant paid to watch and be sure that only one goes up the slide at a time. So if anything happened to anyone, there isn't a lifeguard on duty! When we were there the attendant wasn't "attending" very well, as a friend or someone visited and she sat there chatting for a good 45 minutes at one point!

p.s. If you want to hear the slide make some noise ... have your dh or any man go down it ... it is quite funny to watch the bigger guys go

We're considering staying at Windsor Hills. Can anyone direct me to some pics that anyone may have posted. I know I've seen a website advertising WH but would love some live shots if possible. With all the repies I've read so far, I'm thinking this will most definitely be a top choice.
