Any canadians order groceries delivered to hotel?

Just a note about requiring U.S. credit cards... that doesn't make any sense to me at all. Most likely if your Canadian credit card won't work for U.S. purchases/orders, it's a restriction of your credit card, not the merchant. I've never heard of such a restriction, but normally the credit card company handles currency conversion; it doesn't effect the merchant's payment in any way.

Last summer I paid with my Amex and didn't have any issues. The only time I've ever had a problem with the Amex was trying to pay for flights with AirTran onlilne. I put in the right address I just wasn't using the same formatting Amex uses on my bill so it wouldn't go through. Pulled a bill out of the files entered the address correctly and presto!

They take Canadian credit cards no problem. We just got back from our trip and Garden Grocer was great once again. Our only problem was that we ordered to much stuff. Once again we were not in our room when the groceries arrived. They were left with bell service. When I got to my room there was a message from Garden Grocer. I tipped $10.

Do you know if you can get items like almond milk, non-dairy spread (Earth Balance), tofu, seitan, etc.? I looked on one website (I think it was Garden Grocer) and couldn't find these items.

I would send Garden Grocer an e-mail at info@gardengrocer.net with all the items you would like but are not on the site. They responded very quickly to my e-mail.

I just placed my order with Garden Grocer last night for an April 17th delivery, they had every delivery time slot still open. I ordered water, juice boxes, snacks, dipares, wipes, fresh fruit ect. I also ordered beer. I gave a $10 tip on a $125 order.

What do you mean by time slot? Say I want to place an order for my upcoming trip at the end of August, how much time in advance should I call GG?

I placed my order last night for an April 17th delivery, so 34 days in advace. When you place your order you pick what day you want your delivery and during which time slot. It is in 2 hour windows all day. So you can pick 8am-10am, 9am-11am, 10am-noon ect. ect. They still had everytime slot open. If a timeslot is full it won't be there as as option. I am not sure how early you should place your order but you can go to the webite at gardengrocer.com and there is a toll free # if you want to call them and ask questions.

What a great idea! I love the idea of being able to have healthy snacks and fruit and organic milk for bottles at night. I think I will likely have diapers delivered too - one less thing to pack and they are usually cheaper in the states anyways.

Now if only they had mail order laundry.... ;)

We just got back and used Garden Grocer. We weren't in our room 30 minutes and they showed up with the groceries. Very easy to use and service was excellent. I would use them again in a minute.
