Any Canadians going to OKW anytime soon?

I just found out that David E. Doss just released an OKW print!! We've been searching for one ever since we purchased DVC points there in 2010.

We've called Disney Merchandise but they want too much for shipping plus they ding you at customs with duty and HST.

If anyone is going there and wouldn't mind picking one up for us, we'd greatly appreciate it. We'll gladly pay for shipping within Ontario.

There are two sizes: 8x10 matted for $25 and 11x14 matted for $45. I only want the 8x10 for $25.

I have emailed David directly and have not received a response. Even if his shipping were cheaper than Disney's, we still have to pay duty and taxes which combined with the shipping would be more than the print itself!

Disneyfreak89 - my husband and I used to be DVC members, if you are interested in OKW prints, we have 3 - 2 were bought in 2002 and the artist was visiting the resort and signed both prints (I can't remember her name). Also we bought a print in 1994 and it was done by a different artist. We owned DVC from 1992 until 2005 and have a lot of DVC and Old Key West stuff that we would love to get rid of but don't know any DVC members in Southwestern, Ontario. If you are interested in any of our DVC/Old Key West stuff, let me know. I can give you a list of everything we have.

I found the box the prints are in so I could find out who the artists are for you. The first print - from 1994 - the artist is "Amy Irvine" and the print is of the main pool area and light house. The 2 prints from 2002 - the artist is "Alexandria Skordas" - the first print is of the DVC lookout stand - I don't know what it is officially called - it's what you see before you drive into the OKW resort from the corner of Buena Vista Dr & Bonnet Creek Parkway. The second print is of the "Hospitality Area" - Olivias/Goods Food to Go/Gurgling Suitcase.

No problem. I googled both names and only Alexandria came up. She looks like a great artist, but my heart is set on David's rendition of OKW. Thank you anyway for all your help and thoughtfulness. Much appreciated.

I was under the impression it was only being sold at OKW since its DVC resort specific but you never know.
