Any Canadians Attend Previous D23 Expos?

Question for you folks, I'm coming down from Vancouver for the Expo, and I intend to be in line in Hall E sometime between 3am and 5am, however, D23 is telling me that my tickets will be available for pick-up at Will Call after 7am, because they won't ship to Canada. My concern is that, I may not be allowed to line up in Hall E without having my credentials already with me? And would lose my spot when trying to go get my tickets after 7am? Anyone have any issues with obtaining tickets in previous years?

The lines are being handled differently this time. Previously the lineup happened outside, this year they have announced people arriving before a certain time will be allowed to wait inside while space is available. I think this is a case where you should reach out to D23. Also, get the answer in writing (contact via email) and bring a copy. The actual line management and Expo staff are contracted just for the Expo and do not work for D23, so you'll want to have something to show that you should be allowed to wait before will call opens if that is the case.

When are you arriving in Anaheim?

Will Call will be open on Thursday, as well:
Thursday, August 13, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday, August 14 – Sunday, August 16: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

You will need your credentials to get into the "overnight line" - anyone arriving prior to 7am, per the Things to Know, is being directed that way and I believe they are scanning credentials.

I've reached out to D23 and after several days got a standard cut and paste answer just stating I have to pick up from Will Call and what time they open. I've e-mailed them back but don't expect a quick reply.

This is exactly what I was worried about, as I will be landing at LAX at around 12:30am on Saturday morning and after some running around when I land, I plan to go to the ACC and get in line in Hall E between 3-5am (probably closer to 3:30am-4am).

Guest Relations is your best bet, although it may take some time to get back to you...I know some of the credentials were printed incorrectly and people are emailing them about it.

Also a side note: if you are planning on renting a car, someone noted that the instructions say there is no overnight parking at the Convention Center, although I haven't seen that for myself as I'm still waiting for my tickets to arrive.

Yea, unfortunately most guest relations aren't the quickest and it makes matters worse if there's a wide-scale issue like the misprints, but I guess I'll just have to wait.

I will indeed be renting a car (as is the cheapest option for someone who works for a car rental agency haha). I heard that as well, but no worries, I'm staying at the Marriott Suites on Saturday night, and they are allowing me to park there when I arrive for no extra night charge which is very nice of them :)
